About Me
I’m a storyteller at heart.
I think up marketing ideas. And always try to make them meet on the corner of cool and strategic. Some even dance a little jig. I’m here to help you navigate that world of social media and marketing partnerships & integrations. To make the complex simple and to deliver winning results. [name drop alert] For the past 12 years, I’ve been fortunate to work at a smart creative genius of a company too — The Walt Disney Company. I’ve been able to work alongside brands like Disney Studios, Disney+, ABC, Hulu, Disney Channel, Disney Parks, National Geographic, and much more.
I love learning.
I have a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the University of California – San Diego, a Master of Science (MS) degree from Loyola Marymount University, and most recently, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Southern California. My MBA was one of my favorites to earn as I took classes concentrated in both marketing and the business of entertainment at the USC Marshall School of Business. I find myself constantly applying that knowledge in my current career and growth at The Walt Disney Company.
When I’m not on my 9-5, I’m a graphic designer AKA I create certain graphics and words on purpose, then arrange them in ways that please the pink squiggly stuff in people’s skulls. And in my spare time, I’ve also been dipping my toes in the music marketing and small business scene. I am a social media consultant AKA, I help artists and individuals & their small businesses with their social media strategy, coming up with ideas, and capturing content for them.
Because the way I see it, the work I put out in the world celebrates a culmination of moments. Challenges. Gauntlets laid down. Genius sparks I’m proud of. Triumphs. Strokes of luck or misfortune. Loud, embarrassing errors and the subsequent resilient recovery from those mistakes, and the lessons learned from all of it. I just love making stuff. I love the craft.
I live for the rare, pure moments,
when magic happens, and I love doing this thing I am fortunate enough to call a job. Marketing and telling stories are my life’s works, my hobby, and my never-ending thrill. When I’m not on the job, you can catch me finding inspiration on hikes in Los Angeles, working my way through every recipe in my mother’s secret cookbook, indulging my love for seeing new places, volunteering for causes close to my heart, creating art from pieces of metal & wood, catching a sports game, listening to music, and on the never-ending search for the perfect chocolate donut.
