Disney Entertainment Television x Disney Studios Custom Social Content

As part of my role as the Social Synergy Integrations lead on the Disney Entertainment Television (DET) team, I worked with our Disney television businesses and the Disney Studios teams to lead custom social content projects that promoted respective corporate priorities.

Each of the content pieces highlight the collaboration between stakeholders, the drive to make content that is social first and the creativity to mash two different IPs into one seamlessly.

Below are the projects that I spearheaded. Each of the social post screenshots are hyperlinked.

Disney-Pixar's Inside Out 2

I worked with the Disney Studios and Pixar teams to create custom still images of synergy talent as the emotions. The custom images used the Inside Out emotions as a base with distinct features from talent. We were able to create emotions for each member of some of the casts across networks like the cast of Abbott Elementary and The Bachelorette.

Abbott Elementary:

The Bachelorette:

In addition to the custom graphics, we had a shoot with the Disney+ series Percy Jackson talent at Disneyland around Disney Parks' Pixarfest, a seasonal celebration celebrating Pixar themed food and characters at Disney California Adventure. I worked with Walker Scobell, Leah Jeffries, and Aryan Simhadri to shoot two social concepts. One was an "Emotional Ride" concept where we had the talent ride Radiator Springs Racers at Cars Land and capture them experiencing different emotions. We posted this piece on the Disney Channel (9M followers), Disney Television Animation (206K followers), and the Disney Parks (2M followers) Instagram pages as well as the Disney Channel TikTok page (9.8M followers).

For the second social video, we had talent play/challenge each other to the 2 Pixar Pier boardwalk games at Disney California Adventure while having them answer rapid questions being timed with 3 seconds each.

Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine

The dog in ABC's series, Will Trent, made her the perfect candidate to be Dogpool’s new best bud. We provided the ABC Network social team on set with a Wolverine costume and various Deadpool & Wolverine dog toys or plushes to help create the perfect environment for a photoshoot that promoted both Marvel’s Deadpool & Wolverine and ABC’s Will Trent. The Deadpool page also shared the content.

The First Omen

I worked with the Disney Studios and Hulu team to create a custom social piece promoting the new 20th film, The First Omen. We had Nell Tiger Free from The First Omen do a custom Question & Answer IG Reel driving Hulu fans to the new movie in theaters. I lead the ideation and execution of the social pieces.
